Tony Poenou - Founder / Coordinator
Tony Poenou is the Founder of AfriStack. He has more than a decade of experience in Enterprise Software Architecture for leading institutions in the US, including JPMorgan Chase and IBM.
Current interests encompass enterprise integration, microservices, data science and IoT. Tony believes Africa's path to economic development is tightly coupled with its youth-powered technology innovation. As a result, he is involved in various initiatives to support the startup movement on the continent. Tony also holds a Masters from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Bukola Ashaolu is a Senior Information Technology Manager. She has over a decade of experience orchestrating all phases of information technology and communications projects by utilizing her background in computer science, systems management/integration and web development. She is always excited about learning and teaching new technologies.

Loukman Lamany - Business Strategist
Loukman Lamany is a Business Development Analyst at National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) where he advises small businesses on how to win contracts with local, state, and federal governments. Loukman became an IT enthusiast during his Program Strategist internship at Athgo International, where he was in the program coordinator of Athgo’s Youth Program during the 2013 Transform Africa Summit in Kigali, Republic of Rwanda.

Jeremy Riro - Regional Coordination / East Africa
Jeremy Riro is an Investment Analyst with a background in Finance, Economics & Entrepreneurship. He is the Founder and Managing Partner at Fie-Consult; a boutique Business Consultancy & Investment Advisory firm based in Kenya. He supports SMEs & Start-Ups in building sustainable & profitable business models, improving their business operations & performance, re-organization of their business strategies & in raising capital.
He has wide experience in business planning,financial modeling, business valuation, investment deal structuring, data analysis and business strategy re-engineering.

Dodji Honou - Regional Coordination / West Africa
Manager of DefkoAkNiep Lab, the FabLab Ker-Thiossane in Dakar Dodji has a passion for new technologies. After graduation in Marketing Management and Communication, he turns to Digital Fabrication where he contributes to several projects of creation of FabLab (Fabrication Laboratory) in West Africa. Winner of several international prices with WoeLab (first FabLab of Togo) where he was the Executive Manager, Dodji is an expert in the creation and management of digital fabrication spaces in Africa.

Marcel Kouame - Training and Development Manager
Marcel Kouame is an Information Technology Auditor and Co-Founder of Trovisto Technologies. Marcel started her IT journey at the age of 6 when her programmer father brought a computer home for her to tinker with while he was not around. At the age of 19, she was already working as a consultant at a foreign exchange trading platform.
A few years later, Marcel went on to start Trovisto Technologies a company specializing in information technology consulting, software development, and information security services. Marcel and her partner help start-ups protect their businesses from internal and external threats by implementing best practices and tools available in the field. Marcel volunteers with several organizations within various communities to make technology a reality for teens and adults. After playing the cello for many years, Marcel enjoys classical and jazz.

Mike Otieno - Lead Software Engineer
Mike is a Senior Software engineer with 6 years experience.He has a proven record of team leadership, system analysis, design, and development. He also holds a Masters degree in Software Engineering from Wuhan University in China. He is also the Co-founder of Tulasoft Creative Studio, a software development firm based in Kisumu, Kenya.

Franklin Parker - Strategic Advisor
Franklin is a Lead developer with over 20 years of experience in the software development with an emphasis on Java/JEE and messaging technologies. Types of applications he helped develop included commercial loan processing software and bond trading systems. Over time his role has evolved into a technical leadership one with the responsibility to understand the customer needs, mentor developers on good software developments practices and oversee the implementation and delivery high-quality solutions. Franklin has developed a genuine interest in a sustainable development in Africa. He served on the board of NYU Wagner Student Alliance for Africa where he was responsible for external affairs. Franklin is a graduate from New York University and holds an MBA from Babson College.
